why there is no wires in japan road?

we still have 36 million electric poles in Japan. 22 million are used for delivering electricity and other are for data transmission. however, in the city area, government is working on installing power cables underground. that’s why you can’t see any wires in huge city area. and since electric company uses management computer systems for each electric wires, there are no un-used or broken wires exists that’s why you will not see any mess of wires here in Japan.

Elementary School … 6 years (7 to 12 years old)

It’s depends on how many students are in the city, but usually it’s 25 to 45 students per class room.

we have 2 laws about education, “Basic Act on Education” and “School Education Act”. It is strictly prohibited by these laws to impose corporal punishment on students. however yelling happens sometimes when students acting bad. 🙂

Usually Elementary schools and middle schools are located at walking distance. so, students will take a walk to school. and usually they go to school in groups. in local side, kids are using bicycles. For high-school and above they use public transportation. or some schools offer a shuttle bus service as well.

In Japan, adults also watch anime and manga, so the market size is larger than in other countries where only children watch manga and anime. Therefore, it is easy to do business. And because it’s easy to do business, there are more people working there. Kindergarden, Elementary Schools, Middle Schools, High-Schools are free. however you still need to pay for the materials and meal supply etc.

Many pinoys says they want to see Cherry blossoms and Snow. to see both, best timing is from middle of March to middle of April.

We are very time-conscious people. when your teacher or boss say “come at 8:00AM” that means you MUST arrive at your office or school at 7:45AM. always 15 minutes before appointed time.

This video shows how accurate Japanese Train systems are.People take it for granted. If a train is going to be delayed for even a minute, a huge amount of complaints are thrown at the station staff.

In Japan, it is considered bad to act in a way that makes the people around you uncomfortable. following things are considered not good behaviors in Japan.

  • Avoid loud phone conversations while on public transit. Not only in train, do not talk loudly on a cell phone in an enclosed public space such as a train.
  • Don’t break the rules of chopstick etiquette. Don’t eat anything with your bare hands when chopsticks are offered, except for sushi. and also do not stick chopsticks vertically on a rice bowl because this behavior resembles a funeral ritual.
  • Don’t leave a tip.
  • Don’t wear shoes indoors.
  • Don’t ignore the queuing system. Do not cut in line. Be on line properly.
  • Don’t point other person.
  • Avoid giving and receiving things with one hand. especially from elder people or guests.

it is called “J-Walking”, it is actually not allowed. but many people does that when policeman not around. but if enforcer or police are around you, better follow traffic signals.

No, you must be able to speak Japanese language only if you get citizenship of Japan. when you visit Japan just for short trip. you don’t have to speak. but keep in your mind, it’s better if you learn some important words in Japanese language before you go to Japan. because not many people speaks English in Japan.
